Chola Insurance Distribution Services Private Limited (CIDSPL) is an insurance distributor which is involved in procuring and soliciting insurance services for both Life and General Insurance companies. It is a part of the INR 778 Billion Murugappa Group which established in 1900 and has businesses in the fields of Agriculture, Engineering Services and Financial Services.
CIDSPL, established in 1984, has a corporate agency tie up with Cholamandalam MS General Insurance (Chola MS) for sourcing and servicing general insurance policies. It also has a tie up with Life Insurance Corporation of India (LIC) for sourcing life insurance policies. The current distribution strength includes 310 outlets pan India with a strong number of 800 employees, 85000 partners and 750 SPs.
In 2015, the company brought about a first-of-its-kind Insurance Kiosk to ease insurance policy distribution and servicing.
